The Carriage House is a distinctive two story rental facility located on the grounds of historic Blandwood Mansion.

The Carriage House is not available for rental May and June of 2008 due to a planned archeaological dig for the grounds of Blandwood.

Two spacious rooms, one on each level, an outdoor patio and beautiful grounds make it the perfect location for your wedding, reception, corporate meeting or other special occasion.

The Carriage House is shown by appointment only Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4:30pm, schedule permitting.

No appointments on Saturday and Sunday.

Capacity

GROUND LEVEL - MaximumCapacity 150 An elegant, high-ceilinged ballroom with double glass doors opening to the patio and a view of the Blandwood gardens. Ideal for weddings, dances and receptions.
LOWER LEVEL - Maximum Capacity 175 An expansive carpeted meeting/ dining room. Adjacent caterer's kitchen is equipped with a warming oven, double refrigerator, ice maker, sinks, and large prep area.
Both upper and lower levels are included with your rental. Please note that room capacity is determined by your table and chair set up. The numbers listed are the maximum allowed by fire code.

Rental Rates  

Rental includes:

• Table/chair set–up and breakdown, Carriage House furniture only
• 200 Chairs (interior only)
• 8 six foot rectangular tables
• 4 eight foot rectangular tables
• 6 sixty inch round tables
• 1 four foot rectangular table

A licensed caterer is required.  Caterer must hold valid ABC permits and a certificate of liability insurance, copies to be issued to PGI.

*Special non-profit rate for 501 (c) (3)’s available upon request. Proof of non-profit status is required.

Fees

Non-refundable $500 Security Deposit to hold date-applied to rent $350 Refundable Damage Deposit Security Guard $150 minimum

Additional Fees Lawn Fee $100 – you set up your own chairs Tent Fee $350 – you set up your own tent-tent must be rented through vendor and inspected and permitted by the City of Greensboro Fire Department. Balance due in full sixty (60) days prior to event.

Payments may not be made by credit card.
