211 South Edgeworth Street (former home of Youth Focus and Big Brothers/ Big Sisters)

This two-story, Colonial Revival-style residence was likely constructed around 1925. According to the Guilford County Tax Department, the house contains 1,328 square feet on the first floor, and 1,328 square feet on the second floor, for a total of 2,656 square feet of space on two floors. Interior features include original trim, plaster walls and oak/pine floors. A modern restroom is located on the first floor, and an historic bathroom still exists on the second floor.

This house must be relocated off-site in order to make way for expansion of the Guilford County detention facility.
